  • To impart knowledge for applying Management, Ethics and Behavioral aspects in Built Environment
  • To impart knowledge about Planning, Scheduling and Monitoring for efficient delivery of real estate and infrastructure projects
  • To impart knowledge of Basic understanding of Financial Management, Accounting and Economics in Built Environment
  • To impart knowledge of Built Environment, Architectural and Building design, Basic engineering Theory and Practice for Construction Management
  • To impart knowledge of Corporate Laws in RE, Process of Tendering, Costing and administration of construction contracts
  • To impart knowledge of Health, Safety, Environment, Quality and Sustainability Management in Built Environment
  • Able to acquire management concepts, critical understanding of organizational environment problems and its application to the world of Construction Management.
  • Able to recognise the extent of information needed, to analyse business and technical issues related to Construction Management, able to exercise judgement and thinking in creating new understanding of problems and assisting the team to evaluate the source of information using quantitative and qualitative research techniques and develop effective solutions to complex business and technical problems.
  • Able to explore the extent of information to be collected, use of digital literacy in capturing information from various sources related to Construction Projects and use contemporary technologies to access and manage information.
  • Possess intellectual curiosity and engage in the pursuit of new knowledge and understanding of any management and technical problem with the ability to resolve problems through creative and innovative solutions.
  • Recognise and be aware in absorbing data from the organizational environment, articulate complex business and technical ideas, React and respond proactively with multi-disciplinary and diverse teams in Construction sector. Expertise in verbal, non-verbal and written modes of communication for all issues addressed, able to receive, process, comprehend and convey information on timely basis. Communicate clearly and confidently, and listen and negotiate effectively with others.
  • Demonstrate initiative taking capabilities and confidence to participate in complex organizational situations, strive for Self-management skills, expression of values and trust in empowering diverse and geographically separated Construction team members, able to be an emotionally intelligent manager, encourage intellectual autonomy to meet management challenges among managers. Able to lead and manage diverse teams of Construction Industry or projects and work as team members.
  • Ability to work effectively, and responsibly, in a global context, analyse business and technical issues from local, national and international concerns, gain cross cultural knowledge for developing adaptability, working with virtual construction teams and valuing human diversity in resolving complex management situations.
