  • The objective of this Programme is to equip the students with a comprehensive knowledge of the national laws of India on commercial and mercantile transactions and their working under the global regulatory instruments.
  • A critical understanding of the main legal, economic and financial matters pertaining to the life-cycle of a corporation from a national and international perspective.
  • The ability to analyse international case laws related to corporate laws and to grasp the legal implications of transactions involving business corporations.
  • A strong understanding of fundamental concepts of the factors in which corporate law and regulations operate.
  • To generate experts who specialize in the field of business laws in response to the needs of academic and professional expertise in both private and public sectors.
  • Ability to understand and apply various concepts of statutory laws. • Ability to understand the relevant Statutory Policies and develop competence in fundamental legal skills.
  • • Ability for identifying, finding and assessing the relevance of sources of law in legal research. • Ability for analytical approach, attention to detail, logical reasoning, persuasiveness, sound judgment and writing ability in legal research. • Ability to do research in the emerging areas and identifying the grey areas.
  • • Ability to master various essential technical skills such as e-filing, document drafting, calendaring, communications, collaboration, managing documents and e-mail, data manipulation, and presentations. • Ability to be updated with the emerging digital platforms and have access to various digital learning sources for the purpose of data collection.
  • • Ability to develop problem solving skills through the process of legal research. • Ability to contextual awareness, peripheral vision, design thinking and a multi-disciplinary approach. • Ability to apply the legal provisions in the actual problem solving and to arrive at an interpretation which would serve their purpose and curb the menace.
  • • Ability to have effective listening, clarification, reflection and effective questioning skills. • Ability to adept sustainable organizational performance for the organization and its broader ecosystem through emotional intelligence, a leadership mindset, and influential communication.
