MoU signed between Amity Universities & Prerana Bio-Innovations Research Pvt. Ltd. (PBR) Gujarat

Amity Universities and Institutions signed an MoU with Prerana Bio-Innovations Research Pvt. Ltd. (PBR) Gujarat for joint research in the areas of Biotechnology.   

Dr. Deepak Barot, President & CEO, Prerana Bio-Innovations Research Pvt. Ltd. (PBR) said it is our honor to sign this MoU with Amity University. We are stepping into a new world of mutual cooperation. In the earlier times, people used to look at foreign institutions in the name of academic research, but today institutes like Amity are setting new dimensions at the world level. In the present time, whether it is an educational institution or industry, no one can work in the background, it is necessary to have cooperation between institutions and industries for the development of self, development of the country, and development of students. Vaccines are a major discovery in the time of pandemic. Skill development is extremely important for providing the base of development for the students. He also appreciated the research programs done by Amity.  

 

Dr. Balvinder, Shukla, Vice-Chancellor, Amity University Uttar Pradesh said this MoU will benefit us through joint student training, internship, apprenticeship, project, workshop , conferences, etc. At Amity, we always encourage students, scientists for research and innovation and do not limit research to patents only. We also encourage technology transfers with industries so that the technology can be used for society also. Amity motivates its students to start their own enterprise so that they can work in the direction of self-reliant India. 

 

During this virtual signing MoU ceremony, Dr. W. Selvamurthy, President, Amity Science, Technology & Innovation Foundation; Dr. J K Srivastava, Director, Amity Institute of Biotechnology, Lucknow; Dr. Deepshikha Katare, Asst. Director &, Head- Centre for Medical Biotechnology; Prof. (Dr.) Nidhee Chaudhary, Head, Centre for Biotechnology & Biochemical Engineering were also present
