The “13th Amity University Summer School Program” concluded today at University Campus, Sector-125, Noida. The Summer School program witnessed an enthusiastic participation from students across the country and the batch surpassed all its previous admission figures by registering over 435 students ranging from class IX to XII pass out.
The objective of the Summer School is to help students figure out their key areas of interest in a particular stream of education. The students through this platform gained knowledge and familiarized themselves with their preferred programme in Higher education amongst wide array of courses such as Management, Science & Technology, Mass Communication, Fine Arts, Fashion, Interior Design, Law, Tourism, Hospitality, Foreign Language and Physical Education.
The students not only gained experience to choose their career wisely as per interest and personality traits but also discovered their hidden talents and abilities.
During the program, the participants were given a holistic knowledge about their preferred subjects along with extra-curricular and recreational activities like Yoga, Personality Development and Sports Activities like Shooting, Squash, Tennis, Football, Horse Riding etc.
Addressing the students as ‘Global Future Leaders’, Dr. Ajay Rana, Director, Amity University Summer School said that present times provide ocean of opportunities to young minds and summer schools is the platform which helps in taking a wise career decision by getting insight into practical learning. He advised the students that to be a successful person, it is important inculcate the habit of learning and not to limit it till their study days but suggested that one must be open to learning throughout the life.
Sharing her experience, Anisha Krishnan who opted for English Communication and Journalist course said that the two week program had been an amazing learning experience as it helped her understand the nuances of the course by providing got hand on training, subsequently aiding in decide the career road map.
Another student, Ronak Gupta who studied Marketing & Sales said that the stay during Amity University Summer School had been a phenomenal and euphoric experience.
At the end of the Concluding ceremony, the students were handed over the Course Completion Certificates along with a Group Photograph as a token of remembrance.
