Amity University Uttar Pradesh Noida campus was filled with excitement as Sangathan-2022, a month-long mega event culminating into Founder’s Day celebrations, in honour of the Birth Anniversary of Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder President, Amity Education Group, came to an end, with great fanfare.
The winner’s trophy was awarded to Amity Law School, with 20 gold, 12 silver and 11 bronze medals, followed by Amity School of Engineering and Technology (ASET) as the First Runners Up and Amity International Business School (AIBS) as the Second Runners Up. The winners were presented the trophies and medals by Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder President, Amity Education Group, Dr. Atul Chauhan, Chancellor, Amity University Uttar Pradesh and Dr. Balvinder Shukla, Vice Chancellor, Amity University Uttar Pradesh.
Gracing the occasion with his presence and sharing his visionary words of wisdom, Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder President, Amity Education Group, said, “Amity is not only an institution where knowledge is imparted but it is a place for cultural and social exchange, nurturing peace, harmony and imbibing high cultural values amongst its students. Addressing the gathering during the Cultural Programme, Dr. Atul Chauhan, Chancellor, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, stated, “Amity is proud of its students who are a powerhouse of talent and have been showcasing incredible talent and exemplary skills year after year during “Sangathan”, the Annual Mega Event of Amity. It reinforces the commitment of Amitians to be the best and outshine others by showcasing exemplary skills, talent and creativity and keep the flag of Amity flying high. The outstanding performances by Amity students during the Cultural programme, brought goosebumps to each Amitian, which yet again reflect the high standards set by Amity, not only in education but also nurturing exceptional talent and creativity.”
Admiring the students’ performances during the Cultural Programme, Dr. Balvinder Shukla, Vice Chancellor, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, averred, “Sangathan-2022 is organized every year with the same spirit in mind, where thousands of students not only compete during the various Sports events but also learn from each other and hone their skills and talent. Amity focuses on the holistic development of the students and the way they have performed today cannot be described in words, showing utmost dedication, hard work and sincerity, which Amity stands for.”
The Valedictory Programme commenced with the lighting of “Khel Jyoti”, by the Amity Sports Captains and a March Past by the Marching Contingents of various Amity institutions across India and other countries including Tashkent, Singapore, Mauritius, amongst others, was the highlight of the Programme. Spectacular performances by the students of various Amity institutions across the country, including vibrant songs and dance sequences, showcasing India’s rich cultural heritage and diversity, were presented during the Cultural Programme. Students of Amiown, Amitasha & Atulasha also showcased their performances during the Valedictory Programme. The event concluded with a Fitness Demonstration by Amity School of Physical Education and Sports Sciences (ASPESS) & Amity institute of Indian System of Medicine (AIISM), and a demonstration of unified Games (Bocce).
On this occasion, “Sangathan-2022” Souvenir was also released by Dr Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder President, Amity Education Group, the Head of Institutions and Senior Faculty of Amity. The Valedictory Programme was graced by the presence of Dr. Amita Chauhan, Chairperson, Amity International Schools, Dr. Aseem Chauhan, Chancellor, Amity University Haryana, Mrs. Pooja Chauhan, Chairperson, Amity School of Film and Drama, Mrs. Divya Chauhan, Chairperson, Amity School of Fine Arts, Mr. Ajit Chauhan, Chairman, Amity University Online, Mr. Abhay Chauhan, Vice President, Amity University Online, Mr. Amol Chauhan, Senior Vice President, Amity Capital Venture, Shri Anand Chauhan and Shri Arun Chauhan, Trustees, Ritnand Balved Education Foundation and the Programme was attended by the Head of Institutions, Faculty, Staff and students of Amity in large numbers.
