Amity University has around 40-50% student coming from family business background. Hence this part of ACED is specifically created for catering to individual needs of such students.
Activities: 3.1 Family Business: taking it forwardThis program is conceptualized, to support the students having their own family business, given the older model of family businesses. It is based on the premise that most of the student do not want to join their family businesses, hence in order to understand and provide solution to this problem, this program is started. Here, we facilitate meeting with (entrepreneur )parent of amity student along with his ward is organized to understand the expectation of the parents followed by the grooming of the student ,to be ready to take the responsibility of the business. In this process the scope of diversification, expansion or starting a complete new venture (with the help of parent entrepreneur-Financially and with other resources) are discussed at length.
