Amity Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (ACED) encourage and invite student to freely share their business ideas. ACED works with students to develop their business idea into a mature business plan, which can be successfully executed with the support of various mechanisms and resources available within Amity Universe.

2.1 Developing Student Entrepreneurs from Amity 2.1.1. ACED as an idea generation Centre.

ACED provides a platform for students, where they can freely discuss their business ideas. ACED work as a catalyst in this domain.

2.1.2 Amity Entrepreneurship Forum

Amity Entrepreneurship Forum (AEF), is a platform for Amity students (Both current and Alumni), who are running or interested in starting their own startups. The major objectives of AEF are:

  • I. To provide a platform for all Amity startups, for sharing the resources and knowledge among themselves. This would include all the Alumni also, who are currently successful entrepreneurs.
  • II. To develop an atmosphere of entrepreneurship in the university, where the members can work as a catalyst in developing entrepreneurial mindset in other students.
  • III. To develop a sense of belonging in budding entrepreneurs towards Amity University.
  • IV. To help the Amity management in supporting the entrepreneurial efforts of the student, by providing specific knowledge and guidance as per the need of particular to each startup.

ACED and its Entrepreneurship educator, through many sources like program classes, events, trainings develop the interest of students showing interest in entrepreneurship and venture creation. Through regular participation and personalized mentoring, the business ideas are improved and the career counseling is done for the students.

2.3. Vibrant E-Cell

E-Cells are created in all major institutes under AUUP. It has a student led and faculty mentored structure. Given the size of the university, E cells were conceptualized to decentralize the entrepreneurial activities. The E-cells were designed to conduct the Entrepreneurial activities in their respective institutes and mentor the students. For Each E cell, a Faculty is nominated who spearheads the activity and the mentoring work in their respective institutes. The concept is working very efficiently and E cells are conducting lot of activities.
