9thInternational Conference on Signal Processing and Integrated Networks (SPIN 2022) commences at Amity University

 

Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Amity School of Engineering & Technology (ASET), Amity University Uttar Pradesh Noida, organized the 9th International Conference on Signal Processing and Integrated Networks (SPIN-2022) Technically Co-sponsored by Springer, from 25th August to 26th August 2022, in virtual mode.

Speaking at the Inaugural Session, Chief Guest, Dr. Vivek Lall, Chief Executive General Atomics Global Corporation, San Diego County, California, USA, said, “The synergy between corporate and academia is very important as that leads to outcome-based learnings. Amity is reaching out across all government and private organizations to ensure. It is imperative to take along all stakeholders whether it is the pollical spectrum or the bureaucratic spectrum, academic spectrum, industries, think tanks and adopt a holistic approach for scientific development.” He was also awarded Honorary Professorship by Amity University.

Guest of Honour, Dr. Annalisa Bruno, Principal Scientist, Energy Research Institute, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, averred, “The Conference will inspire future generations and will be highly beneficial for the researchers and students to carry out their research work by acquiring immense knowledge and clarity about the different aspects of recent advancements in the field of signal processing and integrated networks.” 

 

Addressing the gathering, Prof. (Dr.) Balvinder Shukla, Vice Chancellor, Amity University Uttar Pradesh said, “This Conference is aimed at encouraging delegates/experts to engage in a brainstorming technical session that would be focused on how the technology in the field of signal processing and integrated networks has evolved and innovated with their novel research findings. The Conference will highlight the latest technological developments as per industry need and a large number of Research Papers of by the students of Amity have been published recently. Also, collaboration is the key to develop new technologies and working together is imperative for the advancement of technologies.”

During the Inaugural Session, Honorary Professorship was also awarded to Prof. Peter Chong, Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand and Dr Jon Jenkins, Research Computer Scientist, AST Data Analysis, Kepler Mission Analysis Lead, Co-I, NASA, USA. The Inaugural Session concluded with the Felicitation of Guests and Release of SPIN-2022 Proceedings/Book of Abstracts.

SPIN 2022 has received participation of more than 35 International eminent Keynote Speakers from countries such as USA, U.K, Russia, Australia, Canada, Oman, Philippines, New Zealand, Denmark, Singapore, etc. During the two-day conference, insightful sessions on various topics including “Guessing Random Additive Noise Decoding (GRAND) or how to stop worrying about error-correcting code design”, “Artificial Intelligence for Applications in Neurology”, “Building Efficient Deep Neural Networks”, “Isolation enhancement of Massive MIMO antenna arrays for base stations” and “From Internet of Things to Blockchain to Healthcare”, will be held amongst others.
