24X7 ON-CALL/ONLINE COUNSELLING SERVICES BY ACGC

Since ACGC is open for students, six days a week until 6pm, the need for round the clock 24*7 on call/online counselling services was felt. The on-call/online counselling service is a crisis intervention service where students are provided with adequate help, support and guidance to manage their immediate concerns. The availability of round the clock counselling service specifically to students who are away from their parents and during examinations provides a much needed support to students.

SPECIAL GUIDANCE TEAM (SGT)

Apart from counselling services as a support system for students, Special Guidance Team of faculty members also go to visit hostels on weekly basis. As students tend to get stressed and feel anxious during examinations in the absence of parental support, the frequency of visits increase and these teams visits hostels daily. It has been taken as a welcoming step by students as its helping them cope with exam stress and anxiety.
