COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMME: Anti -Plastic drive and collection for Recycling in all the blocks and Institutions.

The University Community Outreach Club was inauguratedformally on Thursday, September 19, 2019. The theme of the programme was ‘Inaugural and Collection of existing polythene and plastic materials and Complete Ban of it in the Campus’ Students were informed about the harmfulness of the use of polythene and plastic materials and encouraged the Community Outreach Club to carry forth the vision of banning the use of these non-Biodegradable materials.

The University Community Outreach Club on September 26, 2019, under programme Themed- ‘Installation of Bins for the Drive against Non-Biodegradables’ Started the collection of Polythene and plastic materials and advocate for the complete Ban of Polythene and Plastic by Installation of Carton Boxes in each block at Amity University, Noida with a notice, to put all the polythene bags and plastic materials in the carton box. The University Community Club has started with a drive to the collection of the existing Polythene and Plastic materials on the Campus. For the same reason, the committee has placed a bin in each of the blocks with two committee volunteers’ members to see to it to make proper use of the bins placed.
