Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Noida campus celebrated Diwali, with great enthusiasm, by organizing a vibrant cultural program, presented by the students of Amity.
Extending heartiest Diwali wishes to all the Amitians, Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder President, Amity Education Group, said, “At Amity, every Amitian is a family member and every festival is celebrated with great enthusiasm. India is a multi-cultural land and festivals are an occasion to bring everyone together and share one’s happiness and joy with each other. Amity believes in nurturing talent of its students and occasion like this provide them with great opportunity for showcasing their talent.”
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Atul Chauhan, Chancellor, Amity University, averred,” Students are the most integral part of Amity and when they perform on occasions like Diwali, they showcase their inner talent and creativity and also represent the cultural values imbibed in them at Amity. Amity wishes all its students a very Happy Diwali and wishes them growth and success in their future endeavours.”
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Balvinder Shukla, Vice Chancellor, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, stated, “At Amity, cultural values and “sanskars” are given utmost importance and the celebration of Diwali is a testimony to the spirit of imbibing cultural values amongst its students. At Amity, every festival is celebrated together with the spirit of ‘unity in diversity’ and it is a delight to see students perform the cultural programme on the occasion of Diwali.”
The students mesmerised the audience with their vibrant dance performances along with melodious song renditions, on this occasion and “Saraswati Vandana” and “Ganesh Vandana” were the highlights of the Cultural Programme.
