A high-level Delegation from Germany visits Amity University to discuss the areas of collaboration

German Delegation visits Amity Centre for Artificial Intelligence

 

A high- level delegation from Germany comprising of Dr. Hinrich Habeck, Managing Director Wirtschaftsförderung und Technologietransfer Schleswig-Holstein GmbH (WTSH), Prof. Dietrich Kebschull, Chairman the Indo-German Export Promotion Project (IGEPP), Mr. Hauke Brauer, Head of International Services, WTSH, Mrs. Sharda Subramaniam, Director IGEPP Consultant Ltd and Mr. Sridhar Subramaniam, Director, IGEPP Consultant Ltd, visited Amity University, to discuss the potential areas of collaboration.

 

Addressing the gathering, DrHinrich Habeck, Managing Director -WTSH, averred, “We provide innovation consultancy and funding to the researchers and China and India are our special focus markets. We promote life sciences, digital technology, food technology, renewable energy and maritime energy. Currently, we are focussing on hiring 300,000 skilled workers since Germany lacks in skilled workforce. The youngsters are highly talented and creative and with their innovative minds, they will be great contributors to science and technology. “

Dr. Gurinder Singh, Group Vice Chancellor Amity Universities, said, “Amity is committed to providing global exposure to its students and Germany is a country which offers a lot of opportunities to the students for learning and growth in all areas including science, technology, innovation, research, manufacturing and others. Germany has the world’s best engineers, who are known for their innovation and technology. At Amity, the focus is not only on providing education but also on shaping the career of the students so that they can transform the world.”

Advising the students, Mr. Hauke Brauer, Head of International Services, WTSH stated, “Students must make the best use of the opportunities and their time to educate themselves and upgrade their skills. Learning a new language helps a lot in one’s career progression and Germany is open to all kinds of thinkers and innovators who can work with us and enhance their career.”

Amity University is delighted to collaborate with Germany to foster exchange of knowledge and learning.”

 

The delegation took a round of the Amity Campus and visited the Central Library, Amity Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Amity Innovation Incubator. Also present on the occasion were Rear Admiral Alok Bhatnagar, Deputy Director General, International Affairs Division, the faculty and students of Amity International Business School.
