Amity School of Engineering and Technology, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Noida, organized the 13th International Conference on Cloud Computing, Data Science and Engineering, "Confluence 2023", from 19th-20th January 2023. The two-day Conference was organized with the aim to provide a platform to entrepreneurs, academicians and experts associated with modern progress on cloud computing, data science and engineering.
Inaugurating the Conference, Dr. Sanjeev Panwar, Principal Scientist, Indian Council for Agricultural Research, Government of India, said, “This Conference will help in knowledge sharing and promotion of research in the field of Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Science. At present, these techniques are being used in all fields of trade, pharmaceutical research, new planning and such conferences are helpful in encouraging young minds.”
Dr. S.N. Singh, Director, ABV-IHTM, Gwalior, averred, “The field of Computer Science and Information Technology has witnessed rapid development and relates to other fields. Today computer science is solving many problems and in the coming ten years, computers or robots will behave like humans. Students that are the future of the country so they must always think differently and use technology for the betterment of the society.”
Prof. (Dr.) Katerina Bourazeri, University of Essex, UK, said, “Always think differently and adopt the attitude of finding a solution to the problem. Today the world is absorbing new technologies, so such conferences will give more development to your experiences.”
Dr. Abhinav Valada of the University of Freiburg, Germany, stated, “We should look at the future with hope. There are many challenges in the application of new technologies and by addressing these problems, we can get closer to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.”

During the two-day Conference, various sessions on relevant topics by renowned experts will be conducted and Research Papers will be presented. A Book on Confluence 2023 Proceedings was also released during the Inaugural Session of the Conference.
