  • Projects

Development of herbal product for urolithiasis from Tribulus terrestris(AIB)
Urolithiasis, classified as one of the most painful disorders afflicting mankind since ancient times, affects 2 - 20% population worldwide. One of the important phenomena that characterize urolithiasis is its high recurrence which is ~50% along with the increasing prevalence rate. Calcium containing stones, especially calcium oxalate monohydrate, calcium oxalate dihydrate (weddellite) and calcium phosphate (apatite) are the most commonly occurring ones (75-90%) followed by magnesium ammonium pby (DBT)

Establishment of an assay using human embryonic stem cell derived cardiac precursors from KIND2 cell(AIMMSCR)
Development of a Stem cell based method for screening for cardiotoxicityby (DBT)

Mass spectrometric identification of matrix protein(s) from calcium oxalate stones in nephroli(PGIMER)
Proteomic analysis into antilithiatic proteinsby (ICMR)

In Vitro Approaches to Investigate the Efficacy and Mechanism of Action of Homeopathic Medicines Aga(CCRH)
Screening of homeopathic remedies for their differential anti-cancer activities in various breast and prostate cancer cell lines (which address hormone dependent and independent forms of these cancer) as well as in normal cell lines. by (CCRH)
