  • Short Description

For the last eight years, I have been involving in experiment and simulation in many aspects of thermo-fluids research with emphasis on phase change phenomenon and formation of interfaces. The subject is poised for growth because of several engineering applications. My research experience is quite diversified. For example, I have carried out experiment to understand the mechanism of heat transfer from boiling surface to bulk liquid near critical heat flux in nucleate pool boiling. I have worked on development of Navier-Stokes and energy equations solver on unstructured grids in complex three dimensional geometries. I have prepared special hydrophobic surfaces for dropwise condensation. I have modeled dropwise condensation in multi-scale. I have carried out experiment of dropwise condensation to validate the model of dropwise condensation. In addition, I have carried out measurements of transport coefficients of fluid flow and heat transfer in nucleate pool, flow boiling and dropwise
