Screening and Identification of disease specific sialo-glycosylation changes with specific lectins i(none)
Change in glycosylation pattern especially aberrant sialylation in the cellular glycoconjugates is one of the prominent biomolecular alterations in cancer cells. It has been suggested that the presence of an increased level of sialic acids in the serum samples of cancer patients might be due to spontaneous release of aberrant sialic acid rich glycoproteins and glycolipids from the cell surface into the extracellular mileu. In the present project an attempt will be made to study the disease aby (Council of science and Technology, UP )
