Molecular Characterization of Cancer Stem Cells from Colorectal Cancer.(University Of Hyderabad, Gachibowli, Hyderabad, India)
Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the second most common cause of cancer related death worldwide, despite of advancement in screening, early detection, adjuvant therapy and treatment. CRC consist of heterogenic pool of cells with a definite differentiation patterns supporting cancer stem cell (CSC) model. According to this model, rare cell populations of tumor, termed cancer stem cells (CSCs) are capable of initiating heterogeneous tumor in a fashion similar to normal stem cell where it maintains nby (DST-SERB)
