    Studies on the effect of plant superoxide dismutases on human cancer cells: Molecular and in silico (NIL)
    Humankind is dreaded by complex diseases like cancer, atherosclerosis, stroke, diabetes, Alzheimer’s disease (AD), Parkinson’s disease, etc. ROS or Reactive oxygen species are the main cause for these diseases. Super oxide dismutase (SOD) is an antioxidant enzyme that protects other chemicals of body from damaging oxidation reactions. This proposal is focussed on exploring the potential of plant SODs for prevention and cure of these dreadful diseases.by (Department of Biotechnology (DBT))
