Merit Scholarship from Visva Bharati University, Santiniketan(1979-1984), National level Art Exhibition Awards: Rajasthan Lalit Kala Akademy (Jaipur), Bombay Art Soceity (Mumbai), The SOLIDS (Chandigarh), TIAS (Hoshiarpur), CREATORS (Ambala Cantt) and Lalit Kala Akademy (Amritsar).

Participated in Commonwealth Week Art Festival, U.K.(London) in 2008. Paintings collected by Lalit Kala Akademy (New Delhi), National Gallery of Modern Art(New Delhi). Art Camp Participation organised by Lalit Kala Akademy and All India Arts@Craft Soceity(New Delhi). Art works selected for National Art Exhibition for 6 times.

Chief Guest for an Art Event organised by St. Mark's Inter School Painting Competition(50 schools taken part). CREATIVITY AT ITS BEST IN ST. MARK’S SR. SEC. PUBLIC SCHOOL, JANAK PURI St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School, Janakpuri organized the 17th Annual Inter School On The Spot Painting Competition on 26th Nov. this year. To be creative means to be in love with life and enhance its beauty. Transformation of this quality into visual expressions by the budding artists weaving brush strokes of poetry was the main aim of this endeavor. The main thrust was towards stirring the imagination and providing a pedestal for innovation, exploration and aesthetics. The young participants spun magic which pulled the strings in the heart, mind and soul of the audience unleashing the forces within. Short Description
A practising artist(painter), an alumnus of Santiniketan, a Winner of 6 awards of national level in Fine Arts. Have been exhibiting art works/paintings in various art galleries in India and abroad regularly for about 35 years including 8 solo shows, about 30 group shows and about 30 exhibition participations including 6 National Art Exhibitions and participated in 5 national level Art Camps. Participated with a painting show in Commonwealth Week Art Festival of U.K. in London. Paintings in collection of Lalit Kala Academy, NGMA(New Delhi) and many private collections.
