    How to Increase Farmer's Adoption of water savings Technologies in Semi-Arid Northern India(Council for Social Development)
    Efficient water use is of utmost importance for the country's sustainability of agriculture, so the Indian government has been promoting drip irrigation. However, the successful implementation of drip irrigation depends on the decision-making agent – farmers. According to the existing literature, despite various benefits, the high initial set-up cost is a major challenge, particularly for small and marginal farmers.
