Potyviruses and Prunus spp.: (exploitation in virus management)
Incidence of potyviruses and other viruses on Prunus spp (plum, peach, cherry, almond and nectarine) was studied by different serological and molecular techniques. Different viruses those were reported were PNRSV, ApMV, ACLSV, and PPVby (Department of Science and Technology)

I have a research experience of 12 years post my masters degree with specialization in molecular plant virology and virus diagnostics. My teaching experience is of 5 years. I wish to develop diagnostics for important plant viruses and also diagnostics which are economic and can be used on the farm.
