Short Description
I have done my PhD from PGIMER, Chandigarh where we analyzed the association of HLA class II alleles in patients of Rheumatic heart disease (RHD). We also analyzed the role of various cytokines and complement components in pathogenesis of RHD. Presently I am working on two projects, one on RHD and another on Dengue funded by DBT and ICMR, respectively. I am trying to develop collaboration with University of Utah, USA with whom I have already published a research paper on antibiotic resistance.
