Therapeutic potential of Prebiotics, Probiotics and their interaction with special reference to anti(ICMR)
the proposed project aims to investigate anti-inflammatory and immuno-modulatory activity of cucurbits as prebiotics and their interaction with L. rhamnosus as probiotics and also with host tissue directly. To achieve this goal, this project will focus on the effect of prebiotics and probiotics individually and synbiotically on: (a) Intestinal barrier function, (b) Anti-inflammatory response, and (c) Immuno-modulatory response. by (ICMR)
