A seven-day workshop on Contemporary Accounting & Taxation for Skill Enhancement is being organized by Amity College of Commerce and Finance. The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. (Mrs.) Balvinder Shukla, Vice-Chancellor, Amity University, Uttar Pradesh and Dr. Sujata Khandai, Director, Amity College of Commerce and Finance. Certified lead auditor and expert Dr. LRS Mani shared information regarding the objective of business education, which is to develop attitude along with one’s skills. He called upon students to develop the ability to make inner decisions, right decisions, and add values. He advised students to create a balance between work and personal life, gain value and above all, observe the society. Dr. Mani said that today a lot of opportunities are available for the youth along with challenges therefore, asked them to identify one’s abilities and match with the opportunities present and thus use your potential. He shared information regarding the need for career planning, planning through self-analysis, developing communication skills, connecting with emerging fields like KPO, e-commerce, BFSI, and Digital Transformation that will have entrepreneurial opportunities to them. Work opportunities are available in the areas of marketing, analysis, finance, etc. He advised students to develop an ability to analyze themselves and work hard on communication skills, self-marketing, never give up attitude and develop group working skills.

A seven-day workshop has been organized to provide students with information on practices developed in the field of accounting and taxation due to government policies and business models. Today a lot of work is being done online in the field of accounting and tax, which is necessary to know and advised students to take benefits from this workshop”.
Dr. Sujata Khandai, Director, Amity College of Commerce and Finance in her welcome address said that the objective of the workshop is to provide students with important information in the field of accounting and taxation. To progress in life, it is necessary to keep oneself updated from time to time, therefore advised students to always learn something new.
During the workshop, Dr. Puneeta Goel shared her views on Citizen Social Responsibility - productive contribution to society, Dr. Miklesh Prasad Yadav addressed on Application of Accounting through Excel, Dr. Adarsh Arora provided information on E-filing of Income Tax Return and amongst others.
