Anti Ragging Committee

In accordance with AUUP Regulation-13 and with the kind approval of the Competent Authority, the Anti-Ragging Committee for Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Noida Campus, for the Academic Year 2026-27 is reconstituted as under:

Role & Responsibilities

The Anti-Ragging Committee will have following responsibilities:

  1. The Chairpersons shall ensure that all circulars, notices, orders, guidelines or other communications issued by the Government of India, Government of Uttar Pradesh, UGC, statutory bodies or other competent authorities relating to Anti Ragging are duly disseminated and appropriate awareness is created among the concerned stakeholders.
  2. To ensure compliance with the provisions of the law, Supreme Court directions and regulations in force concerning ragging.
  3. To design strategies and action plan for curbing the menace of ragging in the University.
  4. To investigate the complaints with regard to ragging in the University.
  5. To Monitor and oversee the performance of the Anti-Ragging Squads and Institution/Department Level Anti Ragging Committee in prevention of ragging in the University.
  6. To inculcate a culture of Ragging Free Environment and conduct awareness programmes from time-to-time in the University.
  7. Plan and conduct regular review meetings regarding, implementation, complaints, activities conducted etc.
  8. To examine the report received from the Proctor on duty/Squad/Patrols and recommend appropriate punishment which will be awarded after the approval of the Chairperson, Anti-Ragging Monitoring and Execution Cell.
  9. The first meeting of the Committee shall be convened before the commencement of each Academic Session. Thereafter, quarterly meetings of the Committee shall be held regularly throughout the Academic Session. Committee shall submit its Annual Report to the University on or before 30th May every year

Tenure of Committee will be of one year (valid upto 30th June 2027).
