Student Grievance Redressal Committee

Consequent upon change in Members the updated composition of Student Grievance Redressal Committee, is as under:

The First meeting of the Committee must be held within a week time of this notification and all the stakeholders be apprised about the grievance redressal mechanism and students grievance handling as per UGC norms/Regulations and Guidelines.

The Committee shall communicate its decision within five days of receipt of the complaint. Any person aggrieved by the decision of the Grievance Redressal Committee or not satisfied by its decision may within a period of six days prefer an appeal to the Appellate Authority.

Any student, not satisfied with the existing redressal mechanism in Amity University, may prefer another complain to this Committee, through DSW.

The tenure of the Committee shall be two years (valid upto 30th June 2026). The meeting of the Committee to be held within three days after receipt of the complaint through HoI/representative of Institutional Students Grievance Redressal Committee. Minutes of the meeting to be submitted within 3 days to the Registrar Office for the approval of the Competent Authority.

One-half of the members of the Committee, including the Chairperson, shall constitute the quorum at a meeting.
