It was a heartwarming moment for the Alumni of PGDM (Batch 2000) of Amity Business School, who celebrated Silver Jubilee and two decades of MCA (Batch 2006) of Amity Institute of Information Technology, to come back to their alma mater, Amity University Noida, meet their batchmates, teachers and cherish the old memories.
Addressing the Amity Alumni, Dr. Ashok Kumar Chauhan, Founder President Amity Education Group, said, “We are extremely proud of our Alumni who are working at high positions in various renowned and prestigious organizations across the world. Amity’s doors are always open for its alumni, and they can reach out to us whenever they face any challenge in life. Our country will achieve the mission of Viksit Bharat@2047, through collective efforts and Amity students will play a crucial role in achieving this goal.”
Expressing his extreme pleasure on meeting the Alumni, Dr. Atul Chauhan, Chancellor, Amity University, said,” It gives us immense pleasure to meet our Alumni as they have been an integral part of Amity’s journey since early days. They are always excited to come back to the campus and have always been in touch with us, over so many years. The greatest strength of any institution comes from its people, and our Alumni are our biggest strength. They have not only achieved huge success as professionals but have always been great mentors to our existing students, by providing their valuable guidance and sharing their experiences with them.”
Sharing his experience, Mr. Kuljit Abrol, Entrepreneur and Alumnus of Amity Business School, said, "Amity has shaped us into the professionals and individuals that we are today. It is one thing to have a vision, but it is another thing to take the vision forward as a mission. Our Hon’ble Founder President Sir has always encouraged us to dream big and achieve our goal, he has led by example and has been a source of great inspiration for all of us.”
Reminiscing old days, Amity Business School Alumnus, Mr. Amit Suri, Director, Digital Bulbs, said, "At Amity, we inculcated the qualities of resilience and risk-taking in life which helped us move forward in challenging times. Today, as I revisit Amity campus, I feel great joy in meeting my peers and teachers, and it brought back all the wonderful moments which we spent here.”
Welcoming the alumni, Dr. Balvinder Shukla, Vice Chancellor, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, stated, "Today is a very special day for us when our Alumni have come back to the campus. We truly believe that “once an Amitian, always an Amitian”, and our alumni are Amity's biggest brand ambassador who have made us proud across the world and their success stories are a source of great encouragement and motivation for our students.” She called upon the Alumni to keep coming back to the campus and keep in touch with the teachers and students.
Amity Business School Alumnus, Ms. Vani Modi, Board of Trustees of Guthrie Hospital, New York, said, "Amity's name will be associated with us for the rest of our lives. It is a joyful and emotional moment for us to reunite with our batchmates and relive the old memories.”
Alumnus of Amity Institute of Information Technology Ms. Neha, Network Engineer at Australia's National Broadband Network, said, " Amity not only fondly remembers its alumni but has always been in constant touch with us through all these years. Coming back to Amity feels like coming home, where we get so much love, warmth and care.”
During the reunion, the Alumni took a round of the Amity Campus, Sector 44, Noida and Amity University campus, Sector 125. Dr. Sanjeev Bansal, Additional Pro Vice Chancellor Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Dr. Rekha Agarwal, Director, Amity Institute of Information Technology, faculty and staff of Amity University were also present on this occasion.
