Amity School of Business (ASB), Amity University Uttar Pradesh organized the 4th Edition of International Conference on Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Business Development (ICESBD’26) on the theme “Evolving Enterprises: Navigating GIG Innovation, Green Operations and Digital Relationship”.
Addressing the students, Chief Guest, Ms. Simin Askari, Chief Human Resource Officer, Executive Advisor, DS Group, stated, “The theme of the conference is very apt since businesses are constantly evolving, and workplaces, customer relationships, have changed. In this evolving scenario, we need to find ways by which we can remain relevant and resilient. Gig workers have been recognized legally, and welfare schemes for gig workers have been implemented by the government. When it comes to business, another important aspect is sustainability. Due to climate change, green operations have become a necessity in the world today and it is crucial adopt sustainable business practices. In addition, digital transformation is has become prevalent, wherein automation is combined with ethics. This conference brings together researchers, students, entrepreneurs and policy makers, so that they can find solutions to the entrepreneurial challenges, collectively, in today’s scenario.”

Durning the Conference, a Panel Discussion on the theme, “Sustainable Innovation in the Gig Economy: Trends, Opportunities, and Challenges”, was also held, along with Paper Presentations on “Gig Economy and Platform-Enabled Entrepreneurship”, “Sustainable Operations and Circular Business Models”, “Digital Relationship Management and Customer Trust” and “Resilience and Innovation in Entrepreneurial Ecosystems”. In addition, a Research Paper Development Workshop on the theme, “Crafting High-Quality Research Papers for Scopus Indexed Journals”, was also organized along with NEXT GEN – INNOVATE EXPO 2026, showcasing twenty-nine sustainable, Digital and disruptive businesses and start-ups set up by young dynamic entrepreneurs.
