Students showcase their creativity during “KREATIV ’26” at Amity

Amity School of Fine Arts (ASFA), Amity School of Fashion Technology (ASFT) & Amity School Performing Arts (ASPA), are organizing their prestigious annual event, “KREATIV ’26”, from 10th to 13th March, 2026 at Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Noida Campus.

KREATIV ’26 is an annual activity comprising of “Annual Display of Artwork” of students of Amity School of Fine Arts (Painting, Applied Art, Animation & Visual Communication programme), Design Collection Presentation by Amity School of Fashion Technology and a performance by students of Amity School of Performing Arts (ASPA). The “Annual Display of Artwork” included more than 400 artworks including mural art, acrylic works, oil paintings, animations, brand campaigns and art installations, and others created by the students.

Inaugurating the exhibition, Mrs. Divya Chauhan, Chairperson, Amity School of Fashion Technology & Amity School of Fine Arts, averred, “It is heartening to see the creativity and talent of Amity students who have showcased their fantastic artworks today. Amity is committed to providing the students with various opportunities to grow and enhance their skills. Fine Arts is a medium through which one expresses themselves and ignite curiosity amongst the audience.”

Dr. Balvinder Shukla, Vice Chancellor Amity University Uttar Pradesh, stated, “India is a land of varied artforms which are prevalent in different parts of the country. At Amity, we provide a platform to the students to develop their expertise, in various fields. Students will make a significant contribution to Viksit Bharat and the role of art and design will be crucial in generating new ideas.”

Renowned Artist Mr.Sudhanshu Sutar, opined, “Fine arts have a rich history, from classical music to dance, folk art, contemporary art and traditional designs.  The medium of language is not required to interpret artworks. A work of art speaks by itself and touches the heart when we understand it by looking at it carefully.” He called upon the students to read the famous works of Indian authors such as Valmiki, Tulsidas and Kalidas and draw inspiration from them, since it is necessary to learn and understand one's own language for self-purification. “Indian culture should be promoted more and should be taken to every part of the world through art”, he added further.

Encouraging the students, Eminent Artist Mr. Amitava Das, stated, “The art and exhibitions created by the students are very impressive and reflect their creativity, hard work, passion. Art is a powerful medium to express emotions, thoughts, feelings and observations. Such events provide a platform to the students to innovate and transform their ideas into artworks.”

Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Joshi, Group Additional Pro Vice Chancellor, Dean (Applied Arts/Fine Arts/Performing Arts/Visual Arts), said, “The event will showcase the original ideas of budding professionals of Art & Design field. The exhibition features an impressive display of artworks created by students from Bachelor of Fine Arts(BFA) and Master of Fine Arts(MFA) Paintings, BFA Animation, BFA & MFA Applied Art, and Visual Communication.”

During the four-day event, Industry Seminar on “Fashion Industry in India: Design for Inclusive Fashion”, a Fashion Show and an “International Conference on Innovations in Technical Textiles (ICITT `2026) for Viksit Bharat”, will also be held.
