    I am MSC (bIOTECHNOLOGY /Phd Biomedical Sciences Current Research Interest: Multidrug and heavy metal resistance in bacteria, ESBLs, natural /synthetic product screening for antimicrobial activity My research work involved study on implications of modulation of Hemeoxygenase in hypobaric hypoxic stress. The precise physiological significance of HO-1 induction under stress conditions still remains to be elucidated. I studied the effect of upregulation and inhibition of hemeoxygenase on the oxidative stress induced by hypoxia. 2. The pollution of the environment with toxic heavy metals is spreading throughout the world along with industrial progress. Microorganisms and microbial products can be highly efficient bioaccumulators of soluble and particulate forms of metals especially dilute external solutions.
