Crosstalk between the Unfolded Protein Response Pathway and Inflammasome Activation in Host Defence(NOT APPLICABLE)
This project explores how Klebsiella pneumoniae infection induces endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress and activates specific branches of the unfolded protein response (UPR), potentially amplifying inflammation and disrupting epithelial barrier integrity. Given the growing threat of antimicrobial resistance, understanding host-pathogen interactions offers new therapeutic possibilities. The study aims to identify UPR pathways activated during infection, assess the impact of their pharmacological inby (DHR)
